Help With Merchandise Return

OK so I just got back from WDW at 3 AM this morning. Had a great trip and all that. But when I got home I noticed that I bought the wrong size shirt. I paid for it with my MB and to be honest I don't even remember what store I bought it in. So I make some calls and get a return setup. The lady tells me that I need a copy of the receipt. Guess what? That receipt still is sitting on the desk at Coronada Springs Resort. Or should I say in the trash can there. Our detailed charges hadn't arrived on our door before we left on Monday. Any suggestions on what I can do?

I'm a little aggravated with myself. I can't believe I picked up the worng size shirt and also can't believe I lost the receipt. I also didn't notice the shirt was $36.95 or I wouldn't be having this problem to start with I'm thinking it's time for reading specs.

If you used your MagicBand to charge it to your room, you could request your resort e-mail you a copy of your resort bill. That's how mine show up lately anyway instead of on my door. I'm not sure that's enough proof (an actual receipt is obviously better), but it's better than nothing and might be enough.
