Hi

Looking for some help with our meal planning.

We are going Wednesday 5th October to Sunday 9th October. Me, dh, DS(4) and mil.

I never normally plan meals that much until we get there but as we are going over a weekend will I need to do som reservations before we go.

Also, liking to get value I still want to factor in salon mickey for the odd pastry and we are staying in DLH at th castle club so we can do afternoon tea at 4pm as well.

Here's my thoughts but any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Wednesday - Rainforrest cafe for dinner (DS loves it there)
Thursday - counter service lunch and inventions for dinner
Friday - mnsshp - thinking a more substantial lunch, any thoughts, then just a snacky tea before the party....
Saturday - counter service lunch then somewhere maybe in the park for dinner, blue lagoon maybe.... Or is it mad to eat in the parks on the Saturday night?
Sunday - later flight so thought either steakhouse or inventions (again) for the Sunday brunch, which is better and are Lilo and stitch always at inventions on a Sunday?

Thanks for any help, you would think I would have got the hang of this planning thing by now ......:confused3

I like to book our meals before we go but as it's not a busy week I think you'll be OK to leave booking until you get there.

How about Agrabah Cafe or Restaurant des Stars for Friday lunch?

I don't think it's mad to eat in the parks on Saturday night - quite the contrary as if the parks are busy it gives you a bit of respite and we all love the Blue Lagoon. The only thing I'd say is to phone and check what time it's open until as the park restaurants don't all stay open late even when the park is once the summer seasons is over.

For Sunday lunchtime I'd choose Inventions lunch over Steakhouse. We've always enjoyed going to the latter but now that Inventions does a character one on Sunday I want to try there! I've got a feeling Vala posted recently that it used to vary but now it seems to always be a Lilo and Stitch Hawaiian theme due to its popularity.

Happy planning! :wizard:

Thanks

Forgot about Agrabah, that might be good, although MIL can be a wee bit of a fussy eater. Is it nice inside, always find theming a good way to occupy DS once he has eaten his fill.....Am I right in thinking a lot of these places do a later lunch?

Do you think 2 visits to Inventions would be too much, at least with the shareholders discount it makes the price not seem so bad?

Will try for blue lagoon on the Saturday night.

Thanks again for the advice

Agrabah Cafe should be an attraction in its own right - its absolutely beautiful inside, so much to look at :goodvibes. Thats where we went for lunch on our MNSSHP Friday, but if I'd been in the Studios that lunchtime I would have done Restaurant des Stars (I really like both these venues).

Thanks.

The plan now is Agrabah, Friday late lunch, blue lagoon Saturday night and inventions Sunday lunch.

Will just leave the booking till we get there and hopefully nothing will be a problem

Thanks again.

Wendy x
