Help with MDE

So I'm renting points to stay at a DVC next year and we had booked 5 nights but were on a wait list for the 6th. The owner was able to get the sixth night and it was under a different confirmation number initially. Disney then changed it to match the other 5 nights. So now on MDE I'm not sure how to update it. It is still showing the old confirmation and not giving me any options. It doesn't even show start check in anymore. Any ideas on what I need to do? Do I need to call?

I would wait a little bit and see if it updates itself. MDE and the DVC Member site can show different things at first. I booked 2 studios at AKV and MDE showed that we had 3 studios. A few days later it reflected the DVC site and showed only 2. If it does not sort itself out within a week, I would call.

You need to call them to get linked up

OP, if you rented points, then you cannot call. Only the member who made the reservation can call DVC Member Services -- and the hold time sometimes is ridiculously long for that phone line.

Even if he did already call to combine and the problem is with my MDE? I didn't think I'd be calling DVC member services. Just whoever helps with MDE.

Just chatted with Disney and they basically told me what a couple of you already said which was that I need to be more patient lol.

So it still hadn't linked and I finally was able to talk to someone at Disney and she is blaming it on the fact that the person I'm renting points from still has his phone number and email attached to the reservation. I'm not understanding this. Why isn't it effecting the other reservations? The other reservations are showing up fine on MDE. I'm confused.
