I did the math. I cannot believe the amount of money we are about to spend JUST on food for an 8 day trip.

There's two of us going. My DBF is a CM here in Seattle so we did not take advantage of free dining because we don't need to buy tickets, and we get a good deal on our resort. For us to buy the DDP, we would each have to pay for park admission for one day. At least I think so, correct me if I'm wrong. So 8 days of DDP plus a park ticket x2 people is $742.

Here are the ADRs I have scheduled:

Lunch at Garden Grill, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, and Cinderella's Royal Table.

Dinner at Les Chefs, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Jiko, Rose & Crown, California Grill, and Crystal Palace.

Now that's more TS credits than we would have IF we purchased DDP anyway. Not to mention I think we would get more than one snack a day each. I should also mention that breakfast will be bananas, nuts, oatmeal, and coffee in our hotel room. We also won't be buying bottled water. So that's a few things I don't have to budget for.

But if I add it up, including snacks , ADRs, and CS, we'll probably spend about $875! FOR TWO PEOPLE!!!

Is that normal? Or in the end, is DDP better? I need an experts opinion and math skills.
