We are going back for our second trip and the pressure it high! Our first trip was absolutely wonderful and flawless - no joke!

So we're staying 7 nights in October...last time we did the Luau and Cinderella's RT...this time, trying to juggle 2 ts credits with some CS dinners etc...I definitley want to do the Castle again - and we loved the Luau, however, isn't the food at the Ohana similar to the Luau? Don't want to do both and would love to have an extra night table service if I can swap the Luau for Ohana and keep everyone happy...help??? If so, I would use the extra table service credit to go to Kouzzina one night after some time at Epcot to eat and walk the boardwalk - we are staying at the Poly...

If you haven't done Ohana then I would definitely try it. We didn't really care for the Luau. The food was good, but the show was kind of boring to us. We really like Ohana though and the food is great. You still get the tropical feel and everything and they do have some entertainment, its just not a show.

If you've already done the Luau, I would definitely go for 'Ohana and another TS. We really enjoy Kouzzina. There are other great TS at Epcot as well. We like to try new things, even though we've loved what we've done before. The SOA and 'Ohana's food is in the same genre but definitely different enough to enjoy the variety with the same flavors. I think trying new things is a good thing as well in the respect that you run the danger of the experience not living up to the one before. I say go for the new experiences! Enjoy!

Thank you...that's kind of what I was thinking...just wanted someone to confirm it!!!! We are already staying there, so I think last time it was nice to feel like we had a "getaway" from the parks and POR...this time we won't feel like it's a getaway at all...however, Kouzzina and walking the boardwalk would satisfy that feeling I think...

A vote for 'Ohana - we went several years ago to the Luau and were definitely not impressed with the food. I'm not a fast eater, and we were rushed through the food, plus the show was just so-so. On the other hand we don't miss 'Ohana on any trip

We are just the opposite! I never did the dinner show.. I LOVE Ohana I get there every trip! Its my fav. Im doing the Luau for the first time next month. Im all for the all you can drink.. lol I just want to expereince the show..

but for sure do ohana! love itttttt<3

I loved the Spirit of Aloha in 2009 so much too!! But we did Ohana last trip & I am thinking we might do both on our next trip. One thing I know I can't miss is Ohana. The food was fantastic!! I LOVED IT! I enjoyed the grilled shrimp & chicken w/ peanut sauce. I could have eaten nothing else. It was that good.

I would read the menus @ allears.net b/c the food is different @ both. I enjoyed both meals. Since you had said your last trip was perfect, I would try Ohana to make it different. It still gives you a nice tropical feel but a new experience. I love just being @ the Poly, so really IMO you can't go wrong. ENJOY!!!:goodvibes
