Help With Lodging

Looking for some suggestions.

Would like to go to Disney Dec 22 – Dec 25, 2008
(I know X-Mas week! )
Need to find lodging around $100 or less a night.
Would like a place that I (dw49) & dd16 would be able to get back
to from parks with out to much trouble. Not sure what public trans
is like around there.

Any help getting us started in the right direction would be great.

There are many hotels to choose from but it would definitely need to be an off-site resort if you want it to be $100 or less. To be honest, I don't even know if you could find anything in that price range close to WDW during the week of Christmas. The highest rates are at that time of year. Maybe something further away but then you run into the issue of transportation to and from the parks.

Maybe you could try Priceline or some similar site?

If transportation is important, then you will defintely need to stay on site. However as the ap mentioned, it may be hard to work this for under $100 a night. $150 should not be a problem, but $100 would be tough. I would suggest finding a way to save the extra couple hundred dollars between now and then, and booking a Value resort. You'll have the convenience of Disney transport, that just cant be matched by any off site resort....
