I bought our family park hoppers and linked them to my Disney account/on my app. But my husband wants to link our family tickets to his Disney account/app too- I know we used to be able to do this. But now, we can't link our tickets to both our accounts. Does anyone know how/why? Will we have to enter the parks first and then will we be able to link tickets to both our accounts?

For virtual queues, is it possible to have multiple people (if we can figure out how to link our tickets to both our apps) try for a boarding group? Or are we limited to one person who has the tickets on their account always? Prior to Covid, we went on RotR and were able to both try for boarding groups since it was no issue to have tickets on both our accounts.

Disney chat was not able to help.
Thanks!

When you bought the tickets they were assigned to your account. You can call the help line and have them unlink your husband's ticket from you account and add it to his. Once that happens you will both be able to "add" the other's ticket on your apps by scanning the barcode on the ticket. My wife and I had the same issue. That was how I resolved it. Once that was done we were both able to try for a boarding group. She was able to get one for us.

Same thing happened to me but eventually I was able to link everyone's tickets to everyone else's accounts without having to call to unlink. I thought it was just a glitch that eventually got fixed.

Thanks!!--so is the only way to unlink a ticket is to call the help desk ? And they will link it to his account? Problem is that I can't seem to get through when I try calling!

Not sure if it's the _only_ way. I read something (on disboards) that suggested this route. Worked for me. I just had to wait on hold. :(

I was able to add tickets purchased from my partners account to mine just by selecting "link ticket" and then scanning (with my phone( the barcode of the ticket displayed on his phone. Now they are on both. So you shouldn't have to involve tech support routinely. Make sure you have the most updated app. My unupdated app could not do it.

If the only reason you want to “unlink” the tickets is for a better chance at ROTR BG, no need!! Just have each person sign into YOUR MDE account on their phone and all simultaneously try for a BG. It will work and whoever gets the group first will get that message, and everyone else will get an error because you are already in a BG. We did this with 5 phones pre-COVID and it work brilliantly then and still does. Have fun!

In my case when we tried that we got an error. I don't recall the specifics of the message. The only way to get past it was to unlink the ticket.
