Help with Laundry stain

My dd's shirt had some ink on the sleeve so I soaked it in oxclean and tide overnight. However it is a white shirt with red trim and now the shirt has pink blotches all over. Now what? Any ideas? I tried washing it in the regular cycle with Tide and oxyclean but it still has pink blotches.......

Soak overnight in a solution of HOT water, 1 cup CASCADE dishwashing POWDER and 1 cup Clorox 2 color safe bleach. Make sure all is mixed well before adding the shirt.

Cheap hairspray (think AquaNet) and a toothbrush.

When my sister was in nursing school, she left a pen in a pocket. It went into the wash with all of her nurse's clothes and my mom's (who is also a nurse). Needless to say, the pen broke and the ink got all over the white uniforms.

We went out and bought several cans of hairspray and some toothbrushes. Spent several hours spraying and scrubbing, and the uniforms came out perfectly white.

Considering the cost of the uniforms compared to the cost of the hairspray, toothbrushes and our time, it was well worth it.

I pride myself on being somewhat of a stain expert!

I recommend hairspray or alcohol. Put a white cloth or paper towel underneath and spray the stained item with hairspray or put a little alcohol on the stain. Then BLOT at the stain. DO NOT RUB IT OR YOU WILL RUB THE STAIN INTO THE FABRIC! Continue applying the hairspray or alcohol and blotting. It may take several times to get the stain out.
Sorry, I misread your laundry problem. The above is good for removing INK stains.
To get the pink dye out, soak the shirt in a solution of 1/2 warm water & 1/2 hydrogen peroxide. If you can, let it soak over-night.
