Help with itinerary with 6 and 3 year old!

I am coming off a uber-planned WDW trip so I am probably overthinking this, but humor me and check out our plans! Any and all feedback and tips welcome! We have a 6 yr old DD and 3 1/2 yr old DS. We are looking for a follow-the-kids-around and have fun trip Just looking to minimize lines because I know we're going during a busy time.


Saturday Apr. 2

• arrive at SNA at 9:30 am, rent car, drive to Grand Californian (yay!!!)
• check into 1 br villa when available
• This day is just whatever we feel like - probably starting at DL, doing no-line things like the carousel, maybe FP for Star Tours because that's the one DS is most excited for (HUGE Star Wars fan already). The only thing we have to do is Super Hero HQ because this is the last day for it.

Sunday, Apr. 3

• be at DL by 7:30 for 8 am opening
• Do Fantasyland (hopefully Peter Pan), maybe Toon Town.
• 11:30 Blue Bayou lunch
• Break at hotel
• 8:30 WOC Dessert Party – super excited about not standing/waiting for this!

Monday, Apr. 4

• Be at DCA for 7 am early entry
• TSMM 2x, carousel, then Carsland, get FP for RSR at 8 am
• 11 am Ariel’s Grotto lunch
• 1:30 massage for me at Mandara Spa!!!
• Break for kids at hotel
• Evening - more DCA

Tuesday, Apr. 5

• Be at DL for 7 am early entry
• Do Peter Pan if we didn’t do it yet, whatever else we want with short lines
• 10:30 am Plaza Inn breakfast
• More rides/break
• 3:45 Aladdin’s Oasis meal pickup
• 8:45 PTN Parade then fireworks

Wednesday, Apr. 6

• Maybe DCA for 7 am early entry, maybe sleep in
• Do whatever we didn’t get to

I went a few years ago when my kids were 3 and 8. Don't forget the Tiki Room on your first day because that's lots of fun for the littles and requires little waiting (plus there's the Dole Whips and whatnot too).

On Sunday, you should easily be able to do the Fantasyland stuff and Toon Town by being there at rope drop. My kids loved being able to meet Mickey and Minnie. The only downside was that my 3-year-old wasn't tall enough for the Go-Coaster yet, but then again, my kids are tiny. Your daughter would probably really enjoy meeting the princesses at the Royal Hall if you can fit it in too.
