Hi There,
Not sure who else to ask so I thought someone on here may be able to help. Basically I don't understand Car insurance. I normally rent from National and 100% love their service but for my weeks vacation in August they're charging 2x the normal rate
This has made me go to other rental agencies but they do not seem to have the same "Peace of Mind" coverage that National does. I've actually been in an accident (fender bender, my fault with another car) in a National car and in Florida no less. They did everything and I was fully covered with no effort on my part. They basically said I could drive into a brick wall for all they cared.
How does this differ from other companies and Credit Card "collision" insurance? Where they say this covers the price of the car only. What could I be liable for in a situation where I only have Collision insurance?
I'm totally at a loss with what to do. Should I pay more for National or is their Peace of Mind coverage comparable to Collision? eeek. Too confusing.
Thanks in advance!
