I am thinking of taking my 82 year old grandmother, who is visting me from the UK, to Disney for new years eve . She has never been before and I would like her to experience the magic...My kids and I went for our very first visit April 2003, so we are still very new to this too.
What can we expect from the disney resorts on New years eve? We will be staying in one of the resorts. All's I have read is it is very hard to get back to your room once everything is done. Any information would be good.
Thanks everyone ..Jayne

You could always get a fireworks view room and celebrate there. :D Last year it rained heavily on NYE.

The parks and buses are insane on NYE! I would get a room at the GF and let her sit on the balcony and watch the MK fireworks. Definitely don't take her out in the crowds.... we were on a bus from DTD back to WL for 2 hours! :eek
