Help with ideas for partner disbounding as Jaffar

Hi again,
We are doing the MNSSHP in October and we thought we had the costumes pinned down but then read the rules and cant wear capes past the waste. So I'm turning to your creative minds for instead of doing full on fancy dress, just partaking of the bounding thing. I would certainly appreciate any hints for him to be Jaffar and myself to be Iiago.

I did a simple google search and found a lot so maybe try that but here are some basics

Him- red long-sleeved, black vest, black pants, red shoes if you can find them, goatee, not sure if he is a hat person but a black hat with a red feather in it, possibly held in by a ruby broach

You- bright red pants, red cardigan, blue belt, blue shirt, orange or yellow shoes, feather earrings and possibly feather accessories in your hair, small simple father gold or silver necklace
