help with hyperspace please

For all you pros... I got so far practicing last night and now can't seem to remember how to get the micro pack. I know WHERE, but can't remember what enables you to walk through the red wavy walls? Was I supposed to do something with the power pack I got on the left hand middle screen? I got it but it doesn't show up in the menu at the bottom like the fuel and shield do. Any help would be appreciated!

Each power pack has a number that will work the power. For example, click 3 to use the power blast (or whatever it is called). Number 4 starts the shield.

My order is normally:

I get the fuel upgrade first
Then Sheild (#4)
Then Power (#3)
Then Micro
Then Macro

You will need to use the power pack #3 to blast through the red wavy lines in order to get the micro pack.

there must have been a glitch,..I got it and it said "you have it" lol but when I pressed 3 nothing happened. Arg...off to try again. Thanks! I might be back with more questions.
