We will be a party of 5. Dad, Mom, and 3 girls ages 12,9,& 8 We thought that since we will have the dining plan it would be fun to go see this show.

Hi, Please help answer a couple of questions for me before I call to make the reservations. Thankyou.

1. We will have the dining plan. Do we tell them up front, and will they still need a credit card?

2. Is there a 800 number I can use to make dining reservations? Or just use the WDW Dine #.

3. What is the best night/time for the show? We were thinking of a Tues. or Wed.

4. Is it worth 2 TS credits each?

1. We will have the dining plan. Do we tell them up front, and will they still need a credit card? They won't charge your card with dining plan. They did ask for our CC# to hold ressies for us.

3. What is the best night/time for the show? We were thinking of a Tues. or Wed. Don't know answer to this but we have for ressies for a Saturday @ 7:15

4. Is it worth 2 TS credits each? We have never done HDDR but have read GREAT reviews here about it!

We were not on the dinning plan so I can not answer that. But I can say that we have enjoyed this show many times. We have gone to Disney 4 times since last November (AP burning a hole in my pocket) and we went to the show 3 out of the 4 times. That is how much we loved it. It is corny and silly and alot of fun. So if you ask me, yes it would be worth the 2 TS's.
Tons of food and drinks and lots of laughs.

Debbie

Oh and we have gone on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and all were good shows.

Considering it is a show and dinner I think it is a great meal. We have gone several times and have always been happy. I have the cutes video clip of my kids getting sung to. SO it will always have a special place in my heart. :sunny:

we were on the dining plan in Sept and yes they asked for a cc but did not charge to it since we were on the plan.

We went to the early show as we had a 4 year old 5:00 show. We enjoyed this time and we went to DTD afterward we had a blast at the show. We had MIL 70 2 DS's 22 DGD 4 and my DH me 49 everyone had a good time and yes it is worth the 2 TS's

Tell them you're on the dining plan (they'll ask). They'll want a credit card in the event that your dining plan credits get used up before the show (they'll have something to charge.)

I always call 407-WDW-DINE (it's programmed in my phone!)

There isn't a better night. There are lots of kids at 5:00, less at 7:00, fewest at 9:00. I read somewhere that they shorten the last show, but I've never noticed the difference.

The show will cost you $50 a head if you pay for it. So, if you're going to use the credits for the Hoop-Dee and end up paying for two meals a person that total more than $50, you'd be better off using them there.

Now, if you meant is the show good, yes, ABSOLUTELY! I schedule a Hoop-Dee-Doo for my first night on ever trip.

Remember to schedule asap, because a table will be assigned based on when you make your reservation, not the time you show up.

Have a great time!

What's the deal with the 800 number for Disney dining? Have I been getting ridiculous long-distance bills from calling Disney dining so much when I could have been using an 800 number? :confused3

Thankyou everyone for your replies. We can't wait to see the show. I will call right now and make the reservations. :cool1:

Any Disney 1-800 number is designed for travel agents only, barring the direct lines to a particular resort. While they are nice enough if you're abusing this and will transfer you through, the official numbers are still 1-407... If they were meant for the public's use, Disney would include them in their advertisements -- but since that hasn't happened you may draw your own conclusions...
