Nautilus undersea tour and reef snorkel vs shipwreck and reef snorkeling.

Which would you pick? Myself, husband, and 2 sons, 12 and 10. They loved snorkeling in August and have their own gear now. I won’t snorkel, but would get in the water if that was allowed. We have considered not doing a port adventure here, but these two are open and seem reasonably priced.

if the shipwreck and reef one is the like $54/pp one, it was not worth the cost at all. You can apparently snorkel for free in about the same area and the shipwreck is not a shipwreck. It's a purposely sunk boat that doesn't even look like a boat, just debris.

That being said, it was our first time snorkeling and was an easy 90min? excursion but time in the water was less than an hour total and you are within a few hundred yards of the cruise ship.

I would snorkel again but I would not do that excursion again unless I was looking for something inexpensive to do for a short while.

We did the Nautilus with our kids and it was a good port adventure for us because we could just walk to there and the kids (2, 3, and 5) enjoyed it. We saw a lot of people snorkeling in the same area the Nautilus went and that just seemed ridiculous. Are there other ports where they could snorkel? There is so much to do on a Disney ship that if you don’t see a port excursion you really want to do, you may have more fun staying on the ship.

We thought the snorkeling was great! To each their own. The shipwreck has a fun story behind it, and while neat, the real appeal is all of the amazing fish near the corral.
