Help with gift for 10 year old girl from Angel Tree

I need help getting a small toy for a 10 year old girl. Our church adopted a local elementary school and the guidance counselors submitted names to the church. All the angel listed was clothes sizes but no wish list of toys. I plan on getting clothes but I also want to include a toy that a 10 year old would like to receive for Christmas.

So can you give me some ideas, I don't want to spend a lot because I will also be buying jeans and shirts and possibly shoes so any help would be appreciated.

My daughter loves arts and crafts. Crayons, markers, coloring books anything along those lines. I hit the Dollar Tree and found a lot of things and the dollar bin at Target has lots of Hello Kitty things that my daughter loves as well.

Jewelry-making kits are something my DD10 likes. She likes them because she can make bracelets, necklaces, key rings and zipper pulls.

Agree that my 9 year old loves craft kits and beads too (both the pony beads/etc to make beadie animals, I've seen kits of those, and the nicer assortments of glass beads at Michaels, etc. That and something to string them on, DD's in heaven!)

She also loves playing Apples to Apples. The Jr version is better, mostly because the regular one has references the kids just aren't familiar with.

DD9 loves crafts too if you're thinking that direction. If you want other ideas, there are some cute card games around $5. Even the $1 spot at Target has really cute decks of cards -snowman, Santa, penguin & bear. I got a deck for each of mine because we've been teaching card games and they also had some cute lip glosses in that section too.

My girls would LOVE it if I let them loose in a Claire's boutique... my 9 yr old loves accessories!

We have six families at school who need assistance. The 10 y/o girls have requested jewlery making kits and craft kits and the Three Musketeer Barbie. The boys Legos and Tech Decks of course!

Ditto on the craft kits. DD10 just got 3 for her Bday! She also wants a pink snuggie, loves Club Penguin (but you need computer access) and likes bath and body lotion. Bath and Body - not the "little girl" ones anymore. Her group is also really into these little pencil toppers - erasers- that are in fun shapes like food or animals. At least at our school it is the thing! They have them at Justice and also at some of the craft stores. I wonder if they might have them at a party place in bulk? edited to add that DD has discovered the Little House books and is really enjoying them.

Another vote for crafts and jewelry making. My DD just turned 10 and that's pretty much all that was on her list.

For a fun stocking stuffer, animal shaped rubber bands like these are HUGE where we live--the local toy store can't keep them in stock. The kids wear them as bracelets and trade them.

I have a 10 year old girl from the Angel Tree too and she asked for a drawing set and craft kits. I am going out today and getting it. I am going to Michaels and AC Moore maybe because wal mart didnt have anything good.

Thanks for help, I purchased clothes today and a webkinz (I figured she would like it even if she didn't have internet). I am planning on hitting Michaels tomorrow for a craft kit. Hopefully, there will be a coupon tomorrow.
