help with GIF Animator

i wanted to mess around with animations for my sig, so i recently downloaded the GIF Animator. however, i can't figure it out, because it seems determined not to let me download any pictures. is there somewhere where i can possibly read up on how to use it, or can someone offer help??? TIA!

Never heard of it... I just use a site to animate pictures for me because I don't want to go through the trouble of downloading and buying things I'll rarely use.
