I’m booking fp+ for a friend and her son (age 11), who are joining us on our trip. They are not planners and want to just follow us. I booked my fp+ two days ago when our window opened. I thought I had to wait until tomorrow for my friends window but learned from these boards that because she was family and friends I could book hers as well. So I just copied my fp+ to my friend. That worked. The problem is I can’t access the son (who is a minor but a Disney adult) on my friends and family to book his fp+. His name shows up as account managed by friend. How do I book friend’s son’s fp+ Can I do this? Does friend have to do this herself or give me her MDE info? Any help would be appreciated.

The system won’t let me add him as a friend. I keep getting a “fumble” message. I think it is because he is a minor. I’m hoping someone has experienced this and can let me know if they had any success in solving the problem.

You have to look at her friends list, then invite him to be your friend. She will receive an invitation from you to share him. Once she accepts your request, you will be able to make plans for him too.

You should be able to do it like previous posters said, you send invite to the son, your friend should see it and then she has to accept it. Note that we had lots of problems getting our Friends and Family list set before our last trip, i.e. people not receiving invitations, friends listed twice. We called Disney Internet Helpdesk several times to get everything straightened out.

The system won’t let me add the son. I click on the box to add him and I get a fumble message. I think I’ll be on the phone with the Disney Internet Helpdesk. Thanks, everyone.

I'm having the exact issue. Were you able to get it figured out?

We had this issue and could only resolve it by calling Disney. There seems to be glitch with adding friends of friends. They should be as to handle it fairly easily!

Either you request or she sends an invitation. I forget which it is. Essentially the adult that controls his account has to grant permission since he is a minor
ETA: help desk should be able to assist. It would help if you had his adult's email address when you talk to them.
