Help with Fastpass question - can you EVER have more than one at a time?

I hope someone can help me with this question. For the past 3-4 years we have gone to Disney in January. There have been virtually no crowds, and few, if any, rides were even using their fastpass machines.

It's been a while since I went at a busier time. But now that my nephew is school aged, we're going in April 2006 for spring break and again in February 2007 for President's week. I know those times will be busier.

This is my question. I remember years ago if you got a fastpass and the return time was more than 2 hours away, you could go ahead and get another one. For instance, it's now 12 noon, you get a fastpass for Winnie the Pooh with a return time of 6 PM. Since that's a 6 hour wait, can I get another fastpass NOW (at 12 noon) or do I have to wait until after 6 PM?
I know we'll be using fastpass more with the heavier crowds, and wondered if that had changed.

I just want to know in advance, because if I WOULD have to wait the six hours above to get another FP, then I might decide to NOT get the FP for Pooh. See what I mean? I want to know how it works in advance, so I don't blow my ability to get a FP all day, if we were just willing to skip Pooh. Hope this makes sense!

Thanks!

You're close. If you get a Fastpass at noon and the return time is 6pm, you can get another fastpass at 2pm - two hours later.

I think one exception to the FASTPASS system is Lights,Motors,Action.I believe you can get a FASTPASS for it even if you have a current FASTPASS and are not eligible for another FASTPASS yet. :)
