Help with fast pass and baby swap

Hi everyone. I am super confused with fast pass and baby swap. We are a family of 5 with 2 older kids and one toddler. How would we use fast pass? Would I book the fast pass for all of us and have 1 adult go with the 2 older kids and get a baby swap for the second adult? This would leave us with a fp left (or even two b/c there would be one on the toddler list) b/c the other adult didn't use it. Any thoughts on how we could maximize fast pass and baby swap for 5 - 2 adults, 2 kids, and 1 toddler? I am totally confused! (and need to figure it out b/c my husband would not be as patient) Thanks so much!

Ok, lets imagine that you want to ride Splash mountain. Mom, Dad, kid 1, kid 2, toddler. Mom, kid 1 and kid 2 get FP for Splash mountain. Dad and toddler (if he's over 3, or just Dad if he's not) get FP for say Jungle Cruise at the same/similar time. Everyone goes to splash and talk to the CM at the FP entrance (they need to see the child who is too short to ride). The CM gives Mom the rider switch tickets. Mom, kid 1 and kid 3 go off and ride Splash. Dad and toddler go off and ride Jungle Cruise. Once that's done, Dad, Kid 1 and Kid 2 ride Splash with the rider switch pass, Mom and toddler go play in the playground area under Splash (or get a snack, or whatever).

Same question but 3 adults, one older child, and one toddler. Scrapquitler, could you run that for me. I can't quite figure this out. I have a good excuse - I am the grandma (but responsible for all the planning)

The first group to ride the ride needs FPs. Any 3 people ride on the Swap without needing FPs.

You essentially double the number of height-restricted rides by using Rider Swap.

I think I've got it. Mom, Dad, older child get fast passes. Mom, Dad, older child, grandma and toddler all go to CM and get child swap pass. Mom, Dad and older child ride. Then older child and grandma (and Mom OR Dad) can ride on the child swap pass. Older child gets a million rides and has the time of his life.
