Help with extra TS credit! What would you do?

After finding out that there's a chance of Frontera Cocina opening in time for our August trip, I am planning to swap my lunch at Wolfgang Puck for it. And since I read that it most likely will not accept DDP, we will be paying OOP, and I am left with an extra TS credit. DF is telling me to just let it go, but I can't. I feel like it's such a waste. What would you change or add to use up that TS credit? Here is our plan:

Sat 8/20
Arrival Day (late afternoon/early evening)
- QS dinner at Pepper Market

Sun 8/21
MK
-5:00 ADR Whispering Canyon

Mon 8/22
Epcot
-5:15 ADR Biergarten

Tue 8/23
AK
-5:10 ADR Boma

Wed 8/24
Rest Day/ DS
-12:00 ADR Wolfgang Puck *We will be changing this to Frontera Cocina if all goes as planned
-6:00 ADR Raglan Road

Thu 8/25
DHS
-5:10 ADR Cape May Cafe

Fri 8/26
Epcot
-4:30 ADR Coral Reef

Sat 8/27
MK
-4:05 ADR 'Ohana

The thoughts I've had (and the issues with them) are:
-Do a TS on our arrival night at DS or at our resort (CSR). Issues: DF wants to relax when we get there and have an early night, and Maya Grill was just eh, ok last time we went. I hate to use a TS credit here when there's other restaurants I really want to try.
-Add a TS lunch on a park day. I was thinking maybe Mama Melrose for DHS lunch, since that's a slower paced day for us. Issues: Will we be too full for a buffet at dinner? I'm not really interested in any of the MK TS restaurants, and at Epcot we have our QS places picked out already.
-TS breakfast on our rest day/DS day. Issues: Are 3 TS meals way too much to eat in one day?
-Change a TS meal to a Signature. Issues: The only restaurants I think we'd be willing to give up are Whispering Canyon or Cape May Cafe (if the Signature was something I'm dying to try). Issues: I'm not seeing any signatures I'm dying to try.

I'd appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback!

Maybe a TS breakfast on leaving day. We like to end our trip with character breakfast before driving off.

One other idea though. When we were on the deluxe plan a few years ago, there was physically no way my wife and I could use all of our credits. Last night is always R&C on the patio for us and we had two extra credits. I ended up finding an older couple waiting along with us and told them our dilemma. We had a wonderful time eating with them. They were actually from Wales and it was their last night as well said they would probably never travel overseas again but wanted one last trip. . I bought using the credits. We split the drinks. They paid the tip. We all watched Illuminations from the table and had a nightcap before bidding adieu. Knew then we would never see them again, but every time I think of that night I have a smile on my face. If extra, maybe pay it forward. pirate: It will pay you back with pleasant memories. :tigger:

I would change Monday or Thursday's dinner to a later time and add in an early lunch either at Epcot or DHS (50's).

I really dislike breakfast, so that wouldn't be an option of me.

I second PP's suggestion of doing a nice TS breakfast on your last day. Or your idea of changing either Whispering Canyon or Cape May to a signature. We LOVE Artist Point which is at WL and could be a great alternative to WCC. On your DHS day, consider doing Hollywood Brown Derby, Yachtsman Steakhouse or Flying Fish (if it's open on your trip). Or how about Akershus or Garden Grill breakfast on one of your EP days?

Thanks all! We have a ridiculously early departure on our leaving day, so we're not able to do anything departure day. We're not big breakfast eaters, but definitely open to doing an early lunch. If we do a TS lunch on one of our park days, are 2 TS meals too much food or too time consuming?

We ended up with extra's on our last day (due to sickness). I traded in my extra credits for snacks to take home (I think that it was 3 snacks per meal). It is not the greatest use of your meal, but it is better than it not getting used! We used it for trail mix, and we have enjoyed having it at home. (A little bit of disney for a snack :)

We would do CP brft at MK or TH at AK, but I see you aren't into brft. I would do an early lunch at Sci-Fi on HS day, around 11. You could do latest brft time at TH, and they will start changing over to lunch, so you can have brunch!

Thank you all! Great suggestions. I'm thinking we're either going to push Cape May Cafe dinner a little later (hopefully if Star Wars fireworks are still going on, they'll start late) and do an early TS lunch there (Mama Melrose or 50's) -or- we are going to swap out Whispering Canyon for a signature. I really need to review the signature menus and see what suits us though. So grateful for everyone's suggestions!

Since you can't do a parting breakfast on your last day, I would use the extra credit for a pre-park opening reservation on your MK day. That would have to be Crystal Palace, of course. You may not care much about breakfast or Winnie the Pooh and friends, but I think it's worth it to walk down a quieter Main Street, especially when the credit would have gone to waste anyway!
