I need some help with understanding EMH. It has been a few years since we have been, and it looks like things have changed. I have a few questions:

For the evening hours it use to be you had to pay 10 bucks (or close to that) and ONLY MK had the evening hours. Do you still have to pay? And it looks like all the parks have it, is it worth it to go?

On the info page it shows that the various parks have different days that they are open early/late, but below that it has a listing of dates that does not match the standard dates. Which is correct and is that updtated info?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

You do not need to pay. You do need to be staying in a WDW hotel. For AM EMH, you just go to the park and, if they ask, show your room key/hotel ID to show you're a WDW guest. For evening EMH, you'll be able to get a wristband starting in late afternoon (I believe) that will let you ride rides until EMH is over. Also, if you do not have a ticket that lets you hop from park to park on the same day, you will need to choose the park with the evening EMH as your park for the day if you wish to go to the PM EMH.

Yes, all parks are involved with EMH now and there is a schedule for which parks are open AM and PM each day. I'm not sure where to get updated info. I do know that they can change the schedule. I don't plan around EMH, so I just wait until I get to WDW and they hand me a schedule, but I'm sure there are plenty of people here who do plan around EMHs and can point you at the best source for info. :)

There's no additional charge for EMH, but you have to be a Disney Resort Guest (which, in this case, includes Shades of Green, Dolphin, Swan, and the Hilton across from Downtown Disney).
You need to show your room key (possibly each person in your party, maybe just one of you) for access to early entry. For Evening EMH, the appropriate park starts distributing wristbands at several locations two hours before normal park closing. EACH person in your party MUST present their room key to a CM at one of these locations, where it may be swiped through a reader to ensure that each room key is used only once, then the CM will apply a wristband to each of you. Guests without wristbands may stay in the park after it closes, but they will NOT be permitted access to rides/shows.
See www.disneyworld.com, then click on "calendar" in the upper right corner, find the appropriate month, and click on the Extra Magic Hours link on any date for a complete EMH schedule and a list of which attractions are open at each park for morning and for evening EMH.
