Help with Disney schedule

Okay so me my husband our 4 year old and by the 1 year old are going to Disney in September. Since this Is actually a second vacation of the year we’re trying to keep it simple or sorta simple. Were going 5 full days. Our plan is to do 2 parks mk and hs. Halloween party and 1 and half days swim, boardwalk, Disney springs, etc. the only Rumored date for mnsshp during our stay is the last night sept. 11. And the 10th is my sons birthday and I want to be at mk. So my question is should we have a no park day on arrival day Then do hs, mk and mnsshp in a row or go to hs arrival day, then no park day, mk, mnsshp?

Honestly it depends on when you arrive on your arrival day. We are early morning park people and once my kids see the pool they want to go. We like to start our first day early. We also take mid day breaks. September is hot.

Also, DHS is far from the "simpler" park experience it used to be.
Star Wars Land and/or Toy Story Land attractions have changed how most guests plan for and visit DHS.

I'm not sure of your intensions for attractions, but DAK might be a better choice for a simpler day at a WDW park.

When I say simpler I just meant we’re not going as long as we usually Do and we’re not doing all the parks. We like to start early and stay at the parks till night shows. We’ve been going every year and all though this year was just suppose to be Mexico, we couldn’t pass up Disney either. I just don’t know if we should have first day as a no park day or second.

We will most likely arrive at around 9. We always take the first flight there. We want to enjoy vacation really early first day to late the last day.

9am for park or airport? We take Magical Express and it usually takes 2 hours. So you might already be talking 11-12 before getting into the parks. In our case we would do character meal or Disney Springs and pool.
