Help with Disney Gift Basket for MIL.

Hi there! I know you can all help me with some good ideas!

My MIL and FIL are accompanying us on our trip in October. It will be their first time ever at WDW! Since my MIL's birthday is coming up I thought I'd make her a Disney gift basket. But besides the Birnbaum's Guide I can't think of what else I should put in there! I'd like ideas for maybe planning or stuff they could use while there. Any ideas?

Disneyag gave you some great ideas. You might also consider a disposable camera, new beach towel, mister water bottle, lanyard and pins, Disney t-shirt.

These ideas might be good for Disney themed Easter baskets as well.

I'm sure our posters can come up with some more great ideas for you.

My Mom is a sucker for stuffed animals so maybe a beanie of her favorite character or the Mouse himself.Disney pens,stationary or mug.Waterglobes.Mom likes these too...they were carrying little ones at the Disney Store.You can find Disney themed picture frames and photo albums that aren't real expensive.I've seen them in Walmart and Kmart.

Another big vote for the GOH badge. That was a HUGE hit with my MIL. If they are planners or just want to read up or look at things the Passporter is a wonderful guide to add. I'm thinking of making a tshirt (with the Hanes T-shirt software and iron-on) for DD and MIL for next trip with her which may or may not be MIL's birthday. If she has a cellphone you can order the little cellphone heads with mickey or minnie on them (similar to the ones for the car). The ones I got light up on the ears when the phone rings etc.

How about some nice new socks, the real cushy hiking ones. We like WigWam. Dh and I always blow $100 on socks before a big Disney trip.

Neutrogena makes an oil free sunscreen stick, very convenient to carry with you. Also some SPF 15 chapstick.

The last Disney catalog had some cute monogrammed Disney shirts with Grammy sayings.

If it were my MIL a roll of duct tape so I didn't have to hear complaints about something every two feet.

I don't know if you are giving the basket before you go or while you are down there. If it's before you go throw in the free planning video from WDW. I would also put in an autograph book for all the pictures you will take with her and the characters!! We did that with my grandmother and she loved it!! Disney earrings are also nice! Disney stickers make inexpensive add-ons. Oh don't forget a photo album too. Boy, this better be a big basket!
