Help with Disney at Christmas Time

Hi everyone!
We are planning a family trip to WDW in early December of 2016. I know it is a way off however I would love to map out what meals I will be booking at 6 months out and get an idea of what resort will work best for our plans. We won't be there over Christmas but WDW will be decked out for Christmas which is something we have never seen, we have only been in the fall. I would love to hear everyones suggestions of MUST DOs at WDW during this season. Which restaurants offer something a bit different for Christmas? It will be 3 adults, my niece 16 and DD will be 8.

we have been in early December a few times, granted it has been a few years since then and things may be a little different now. It is my favorite time to go. When we went the weather was great, crowds were low and the Christmas decorations were wonderful! I love the Osborne Lights at DHS so that's a must do, also in EPCOT they have Santas from around the world, our kids loved seeing them and watching them tell their stories about their histories. I think there is a special Minnie meal at DHS this year but i don't know anything about i really. Of course there is the Christmas Party in MK too.

It's been awhile since we were there over Christmas time but I do remember going to different resorts and checking out the decorations like the huge gingerbread house at Grand Floridian and such. Also definitely make time for MVMCP and Osborne lights.

Biergarten adds some Christmas to their entertainment and decorations, but as we haven't been during early December, I don't know when in the season they add those bits in, but we enjoyed the additions when we saw it over Christmas week a couple years ago.
