help with discount

How are room discounts applied to a package? Is a % off of just the portion that is just the room or will it be a % off of the total package? Thanks! Wondering what to expect.

Generally the discounts will state. They list a column with each resort and the percentage. That percentage is off the room portion.
Sometimes they also list other deals which could be separate or in addition. You just have to read the deal.
Example: Last year I got a percentage off our room and in addition I got park hopper added to our ticket. That was the deal.
They have been getting very specific lately, with different dining, stay play deals, etc.,
But generally a discount percentage is for the room only and then you add on the other components of the package. If your lucky, they may throw in a 5th day free ticket, free park hopper or whatever deal and that is the only way that will affect the ticket portion
