We have an ADR for 50's Prime Time which we all love but it is on a night when Fantasmic is showing and I keep reading that HS is packed on these nights. I don't know if I really want to spend an evening at HS when it is wall to wall people and there are huge waits for all the rides. I was thinking about trying Beaches and Cream. Has anyone been that could let me know how it compares to 50's? Mainly curious about the food and feel of the place . . . thanks!

Well we LOVE beaches and cream. Not similar to 50s at all really. Not heavy on the theming except that it feels old fashioned- but if you order a kitchen sink (eveyr tyep of ice cream w/ every topping in a sink) then they make a big deal and that's fun. :-)
I like the food there alot- chili dogs are giant adn wonderful :-) and anything chocolate peanut butter!
It's pretty small, so u dont wanna go at a peak meal time or you'll wait forever. BUT even if you have to wait, it is right next door to a decent game room and playing air hockey in there while waiting for a table is tradition in my fam :-). I say if you're not in a park, it's a fun place

Another choice is at the Dolphin, the Fountain. It has a similar menu to B&C, but no soda shoppe theming like B&C

If you go to &C, make sure you play some songs on the juke box - no cost!

We love both...at 50's we always get the fried chicken and at B&C we always get burgers and onion rings...cannot go wrong with either place
