Help With Dining Reservations!

Hi All,
We are heading to the park for 3 days Jan 3-6 and dining reservations will open tomorrow for the 3rd. I want to book the WOC dessert party and RBT Fantasmic packages. However, since park schedules for that time period are not out yet, how do I know what days/times these shows will be? Am I missing something? I don't want to book a dining package to find that there is no show!

That's one of the quirks with the DLR dining system; reservations open 60-days in advance, but park hours aren't posted until 45-days in advance and entertainment trickles out after there. That being said, dining packages are (usually) not offered on days when there will not be a show. So if you can book a dining package, there is an excellent change that show will be presented that day (baring some unforeseen emergency).

WoC is usually presented nightly. Given that the holiday season runs through Jan 7, my guess is that F! will be presented nightly during your trip dates.

One caveat, DLR doesn't always load dining reservations right at the 60-day mark. So if you call or go online tomorrow and nothing shows as available, it probably means they haven't loaded the reservations information into the system yet (opposed to already being fully booked).

I booked this for Jan 2nd this morning. It is at 8:15 and said to be there 1 hour before.

Booked the dessert party at 9am this morning for Jan 3rd! Yay! Now need to wait until tomorrow to book Fantasmic - do I book the regular reservation online and then call to upgrade to premium or do I call to book from the beginning?

If you are doing the Premium Seating for RBT you have to call- no booking regular reservation first.

One more question before I call to book tomorrow...I know the premium RBT reservation is for 8pm. Does that mean the viewing for the show is the 9pm one? I want to be sure we get to see the earlier show and not have to have the little ones out for the 10:30pm show! Thanks in advance!

Yes, the RBT seating at 8:00 pm is for the 9:00 pm F! show. The main idea is that you'll have your dinner, then watch the show from your table. I'm assuming they pace the meal so you're just finish up or having dessert when the show starts.
