So 5 of us traveling, party includes me, dh, dd1(14), dd2(11), ds(6). Planning on DHS rope drop with pre-booked fast passes. Plan to arrive at park for rope drop on 8/2, so 8:00 am.

DH and DS are going to tour together for the first half hour or so and I am going to tour with the girls.

DH/DS:

TSMM - standby
Star Tours - standby
meet me, dd1 and dd2 at Star Tours at 9:30-10

Me/dd1/dd2

RRC - standby
ToT - standby
meet DH/DS at Star Tours ~9:30-10:00

All:

Star Tours - Standby
Great Movie Ride - Standby
March of the First Order
Muppets (if time)
Star Wars Launch Bay (as time permits - otherwise after break)
SciFi @ 11:45 for lunch

BREAK @ WBC 1-5 - light dinner at condo

FP+ Indiana Jones at 6:00 (ALL)
TSMM w/ FP+ (me, dh, ds), RnR w/ FP+ (dd1 and dd2)
ToT w/ FP+ (DH, DD1, DD2), Star Tours FP + (me, DS)
Launch Bay/Muppets/etc filler until time to watch Star Wars Spectacular.

What time do I need to find a spot for Star Wars??

I realize my son will be riding Star Tours 3x but it is literally the ride he is most looking forward to and loves Star Wars. We may have my DH and DS do Jedi Training sign up before they hit TSMM, but that will be a game time decision. Advice? Thoughts?

Thanks

Kate

Just a couple suggestions, first I wouldn't use a FP for Indy. It is a very large theater and as long as you get there 30 mins before show time you'll get a decent seat. Second by 10:00 am the park will be getting crowded, your Star Tours ride at 10:00 am may be a fairly long wait, you may want to re-schedule that one. I think the others will be fine.

We just got back from our trip, we scheduled our FP's starting around 11:00 am, by 2:00 pm we were done with the 1st three and were able to schedule more for non-headliner attractions.

Thanks NJ Goofy for the tips. I was wondering about the Star Tours at 10am. I will keep that in mind.

This is an extremely busy holiday weekend (and is also the opening of Pandora) and probably is not indicative of what the crowds will be like when you go. That said, I agree no FP for shows. I am usually able to ride TSMM, ToT, RNRC (single rider line), and ST in just over an hour at rope drop (in that order) without any FP. I save them for after 10AM!
