Help with CS & snack credits

If my kids want to order something off the "adult" menu at a CS, is it possible to do either of these things:

1. Just pay the difference between what the DDP would pay and the actual cost? or

2. Pay OOP and save the kid's DDP CS credit & trade it in? for snacks? Is that possible?
