We are first time Disneygoers!
Cast: My husband, his parents, myself, my parents and 8 year old son.
I have managed to make my ressies for TS restaurants during free dining in September.
However I am stumped for CS/lunch ideas. I think we plan to Pay OOP for breakfasts or use some snack credits.
Can you post your favorite counter service in each park and why
Thanks in advance for your help

In Epcot either Yakitori House in Japan or Tangerine Cafe in Morocco.

In AK either Tusker House or Flame Tree Barbeque

You can check menus here: http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm

I have yet to find one I like at MGM.
Epcot: Sunshine seasons food court in the land pavillion
MK: I like Columbia Harbor House
AK: It was Tusker house, which will be closed when you go I think, so no help there either.

I reccommend Cosmic Rays for variety or Columbia Harbor House for fish & chips. Theres also a place near Pirates in Adventure land that is sometimes open for lunch and sells tacos etc...

At Epcot, Id do Sunshine seasons, for the variety of options available

At MGM, there isnt as much variety. Theres burgers/ Ch strips at Backlot express, or Pizza Planet:confused3

At AK, you also have choices. Burgers, BBQ, or pizza (or Tusker house for grilled chicken or salmon)

Decide what you feel like eating, than take it from there:goodvibes

the only ones we really like was Sunshine Seasons at Epcot and Pizzafari at AK.

Cosmin Rays is set up weird. It has 3 statiosn but you have to get in 3 different lines if you all want different things and pay in different lines. Like when we went DS9 wanted a burger, DS$ and I wanted chicken and DH didnt care, well we overrode DS( and all got chicken so we would only have to deal with one line, we were also racing to finish eating so we could get to the fireworks.

Pecos Bills at MK
Yorkshire (I think) Fish House Great Britain at Epcot

I also am having trouble deciding where to use our CS meals:confused3 . So far these are the only two I'm sure of.

Best: Flame tree at AK
Worst: Pizza Planet at MGM - I can't believe disney would serve such sub par food.

Ak: Flame Tree BBQ
MGM: Flatbread Grill
MK: columbia harbour house or Casey's Corner
Epcot: Fish Shop - sells Rose and Crown's fish and chips, Lotus in China, Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, Cantina de San Angel - We snack all the way around the world usually for lunch. It's great and you get to taste a little bit of everything.

Tusker House will not be an option at AK in September. It's being converted to TS and will be closed. Flame Tree is terrific, though. MGM is the real weak link; we may leave the park for cs, boat over to one of the Epcot resorts. At MK, Cosmic Rays is the best, a chicken and rib combo that will fill any Big Guy up. Pecos Bill is a good burger with a great fixin' bar, but the best may be the Main Street Bakery. And at Epcot, you can pick your favorite foreign food, or go to Sunshine ?Seasons, which has an amazing number of good choices.

Here's my list of favorite counter service where I feel you get the best for your counter service.

Wolfgang Puck westside express at Downtown Disney
Pepper Market at Coronado Springs
Seasons at Epcot
Marakesh at Epcot

Nothing in MGM. Epcot Sunshine seasons for variety.
Wolfgang puck's express. Columbia Harbor House and pecos bill's

Here are my ideas:

MGM - Flatbread Grill
AK - Tusker House (I think it is closing though)
MK - Columbia Harbour House or Cosmic Rays
Epcot - in America, I think it is called Liberty Inn?

Where are you staying? Some of the resort cs that we ate was quite good.
