I have looked high and low for a "comfortable" dress for my daughter with sensory issues... I like a few at Storybook Heirlooms- but hate to buy without actually touching the fabric. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
:)

Wooden Soldier has some beautiful options.....If there is such an issue with fabric I would have one made. Good Luck

what kids of things bother her? I have bought a few dressy dresses for my dd from a site on ebay.

My daughter was a flower girl in my brother's wedding. The dress the bride picked out was very scratchy on the chest and back (It was a lacy type material) I got my daughter a sleeveless white shirt from Target (not spaghetti straps) and she wore it under the dress. It didn't show and she was comfortable in the dress all day.

Good luck!

I think the other posters or onto something. I think finding something to wear under it might work best. I also have seen some really nice dresses on ebay lately. I've had been looking for a white one for my DD to wear at my sister's wedding, and saw quite a few that were very nice that were too big for her ( like size 3-10)

They have a large collection at Burlington Coat Factory. Not sure where you live but I see them there all year long.

honestly, you can also try posting this in the disABILITIES forum. there are many parents of children with sensory issues, so they may have something that could help you.
