We will be going to Disney 12/21 till 12/28. This will be our kids Xmas present.
I am looking for ideas for our way of telling them. Our local Fire Department comes to your house (for a donation) with a decorated fire truck with Santa on the truck and they arrive playing Xmas music. :santa: We have already signed up for this just waiting for the date of when they will come. The date should be 2 weeks before we leave. We have to provide a gift for Santa to bring when he comes. My first thought was wrapping the magic bands for Santa to bring but the bands will not get here before the deadline to drop off the gifts at the station. If they did get here in time I don't want to take a chance of them getting misplaced. We plan on wrapping the magic bands and putting them under the tree right before Santa comes. We can easily keep the kids away from the tree to do this. What should we wrap for Santa to bring? I thought of a Disney ornament with a note on the package saying to check under the tree for more surprises. Anyone have any others ideas to share? I figured once they open the bands under the tree they will instantly realize we are going to Disney.

Thanks for any ideas!!
Can't wait! :santa::santa:
Also my kids are 10 yr girl and 13 yr boy and they both know about "Santa" but they still play along with the magic of "Santa" ;)

You could wrap an autograph book, mickey ears, get Disney gift cards and have Santa bring them some spending cash. A new Disney shirt, anything they would associate with going to Disney.

Since they know about "Santa" you could even do a coupon book for things at Disney. One on one time with Mom, Dad, A mickey treat, A round of golf, etc.

Have a blast. When we surprised our daughter for her December birthday we got to Ocala and then let her open a present. In it was an autograph book, birthday Mickey ears and some cash. She took a minute to register and the pictures are priceless as you see the light bulb go on:)
