My family and I are heading to disney the second week in November for the first time in 4 years (yes we live in NJ and are heading down for Jersey week). We've always stayed at the Polynesian Resort and are doing so again this time. We're going for 6 nights and 7 days and have booked a Magic Kingdom view room. My wife and I have 3 daughters, 10, 7 and 5 and want this to be the most memorable for them. I think they are at the perfect age to enjoy it. Anyways, even though we've stayed at the Poly before I'm looking for what everyone thought in regards to the building/room with the best view of the MK. We've already requested a 2nd or 3rd floor as we tend to not care for the first floor. We would love a perfect view of the castle so that we can anjoy the fireworks from our balcony.

Anyone's help/recommendation is most appreciated. This is our first real vacation in a number of years and want it to be special.

Some buildings at Poly do not have balconies on 2nd floor!! I would hope the fact that you booked and paid for a MK View...you will get one!!!
Try the site the above poster suggested!!! Have fun!

Thank you for the reference to that great website. It has a ton of information on it. I remember staying in the Tahiti building once before and it looks like I'm going to try to get in it again, somewhere on the 3rd floor ideally. All 2nd and 3rd floor rooms have balconies, which is great also. Really looking forward to this vacation!! The kids are going to be flipping out when we tell them. They have no idea we're going yet.

We were in the Tahiti building last week and LOVED it! The views were awesome and the rooms huge! We also had 5 in the room and it did not feel at all crowded.

Have fun!

Thanks again everyone. We've requested an upper level room in the Tahiti building. I'm hoping we will be accomadated. My wife and I are absolutely dying to tell the kids were going but we are going to try and hold out until the last minute. I'm going to videotape there reactions as I'm sure it will be priceless.

This is from a couple weeks ago, loved the Tahiti building - this is from the 3rd floor. It is a little bit of a walk to the main building, but we loved being so close to the TTC and our view was awesome.
