HELP with chat!!

Okay, I give up! I've tried everyway that I can find to go into chat. Yes, I need my FIX! I've never chatted before.

I went to the chat page, created a log in (tkd lisa) just like my name here, and selected the ichat option. I downloaded the latest ichat from that page too. When I created the option, it said everything was fine, but when I try to log in, it says login fails. HELP!!

I really wish we could get some help with this. I followed the guidelines on the getting started, and when I went looking on the cruise board today I noticed a "get acquainted chat" thing tonight. Of course, when I tried to log in, I got the same error message.

Okay, first off, did you "open" ichat after you downloaded it? It won't be installed until you go to the folder where ichat was downloaded and double left click on the folder icon for ichat. That will finish the installation.

Other than that I can't think why you can't log into chat

when I am having trouble, I usually click on the HTML option - it's not as fancy but it always works. Might be worth a try

Have tried that option Bev, have tried them all! always get the same page up that the login has failed

I'll give them a try. Thanks for responding! I thought that no one was listening! I've tried to send an email to the lady (Katolyn) who sent out the instructional chat announcement, but it keeps getting bounced.
