Hi,I dont know if I will get flamed for this,I hope not this is not my intention.

I am wanting to know if anyone gets their prescriptions from an online pharmacy from Canada.

My DH is on Nexium and I am on Wellbutrin, they are so expensive:scared1: and we dont have health insurance. We are both self employed and insurance is so very expensive.

So if you know anything about this please let me know and again no flames please.
Also if you use one please share with me.

Thanks,
Misty

We were in the same boat as you last year. During that time, I used www.canadadrugs.com for anything that didn't have a generic yet (Flonase and 2 of my husband's diabetic meds).

I felt comfortable using the brands as they were pre-packaged by the drug company and we had no problems at all. The on-line ordering was easy...paid with a CC and faxed copies of the scripts to them. If you have specific questions, feel free to PM me.

You might check Walmart's new $4.00 generic program, they have several kinds of the ones you are using in generic. Have your DR. check and see, have him look at their list. You can print it out from Walmart's site.

We have and they are not on there.I wished they were.My DH is on something from the Wlamart generic now for his Acid Reflux and it is not working and he is miserable. We have tried so many things and the only thing that works is the Nexium.
Thanks though.

So how long did it take once you faxed in the presciption and paid till you actually recieved them.

I have a friend who owns an online Australian pharmacy, she sells through www.canadameds.com, click on the Australian flag when the prices come up... I can vouch for her products, they are straight from the manufacturer....

the cost of medication varies dramatically from country to country. When Prilosec (Losec) was prescription only, in Canada it cost me at least 5x what I paid over the counter in the US recently.

Same with Naproxen - I can buy a $2 bottle in the US for a fraction of what I paid (by prescription only) in Canada.

Some medications which are prescription only in one country may be OTC in another. For years I brought Claritin for someone in the US as it was prescription only in the US but OTC in Canada until recently.

You definitely need to do your research if you go this route. Because I live and work in a variety of countries, I am able to purchase medications in USA, Canada, and Germany. But I know the prices and shop carefully.
