BW CL is in the end of the hotel that is above ESPN. Our room was near the far end of the hall, and it was basically behind the far end of ESPN. From our room, we walked more to towards the middle of the resort to get to the lounge, but it was still basically located in that same wing on our floor.
I'm kind of thinking most of the rooms are located on that floor, but I could be wrong. I think the ones that are not are more suites - but I could be wrong. BWK is laid out long, not high. As such, it takes a bit to walk from place to place, especially since you have to travel between different floors.
As I said, we were at the far end of the hall. It was a healthy walk, more or less requiring two elevators to get to the main pool. (There was a way to do it using one, but you had to walk almost the whole Boardwalk facing length of the resort to do it. Also, even though we could SEE the Epcot pathway from our room, the only way to get to it was to walk all the way to the middle of the resort. We were close to a nice quiet pool, so we ended up there more than the main pool. The landscaping there was very pretty and it was quiet.
That said, that was about our only real complaint. The lounge has great food compared to many others. The lounge is also pretty, relaxing, and quite large compared to some others. Also even despite our room location, it was a quick walk to both HS and Epcot. The walk from BC or the Swan is not bad either, but BWK is shortest.
Oh, and we did not like Kouzzina. I've been to WDW a good number of times, and it is just about the worst. They combined the worst of Mediterranean food (which I usually love) with the worst elements of Southern food (heavy fattening sauces) The kids' pizza was nasty. What kind of Greek restaurant serves nasty pizza? WDW pizza is not the best, but just about every place else I've tried it has been better than what they served there. It was truly a tomato cookie. It was doubly a surprise because we really LIKED most of the yummy appetizers offered on the club floor (which are supposed to be related to the food served below), and otherwise I've never been to a Greek place that had less than stellar pizza. Everywhere else we've dined on the whole loop around the lake has been better. ESPN was not our favorite, but mostly everywhere else was quite good: Swan, Dolphin, BC, YC, other BWK places, and Epcot WS are mostly among the best eating in WDW.
One other minor thing - I know - I'm making the place sound bad- was that the lounge staff sometimes stood around while we ate. They were trying to be helpful, but I kind of don't love to be stared at while I eat. It's just the way the place is set up.
There is a bathroom near the lounge which is great! CR doesn't have a bathroom except the ones in your room.
The rooms at BWK were most excellent, and the staff was pretty good. The staff at BC was suberb, but BWK staff was also nice. Wish we could have had a better room location, and we really didn't request anything much beyond that, but they were nice.
The main pool is a little deeper than most pools at WDW. The pool slide is very cute, but the current is a little bit stronger than some of the others pools. Some of the pool slides are more tame - so this one is great for bigger kids, but maybe a little strong for very small kids.
Overall we really liked it and would gladly stay again. The pluses considerably outweighed the negatives. The resort is really pretty and the theming is really cheerful. I also like the room layout and decor.
