I can't believe I want to do this, but my family who I usually go with just don't like me stopping all the time to take photos.
So I've decided to go about the 25th August for one week and stay on the boardwalk.
Trouble is Thompsons has the flights from Birmingham but they say Disney wont let them put in one person for a room on their computers. This is with their free phone line, all travel agents I have tried have no vacancies.
Any ideas ?

Why not book the flight separately and book the room directly with Disney. It would probably even work out cheaper.

Just went to the Disney site and got a room at BWI with dining plan for one week 25 th August for £1999. There was no problem with the number I would talk with thompsons again.

£1999 for 1 person 1 week? :scared1:

nee what kind of prices were you expecting for 1 week BWI and Thompson flight?

Just run a quote from Disney.com and it comes out as $2485 for room only. I'd give Disney a call direct and see what they can do :goodvibes

Hi, I did try phoning Airtours three weeks ago and they found a week going on the 23rd to the Beach club for £1,400.
Trouble was I couldn't decide if I was brave enough to go on my own then.
Does anyone have the phone number inc the USA code for Disney, hopefully that may be cheaper
Thanks

Never get a hotel direct with Disney, these prices are scaring me.
For the price Disney charge you can get flight included.
Thomson flight £443
Boardwalk booked with Hotels.co.uk £971 incl magical express.
Total £1,414

Disney.co.uk is £1,456 just for room, no flight

Booking through a travel agent you always get stuck with the single person supplement for everything from flight to accommodation etc. I remember going with Thomas Cook a few years back as a Single traveller staying on
I drive, and it cost me more on my own that the previous year when i went with my sister and niece.

If your on a budget then you need to look at all the options available to you. You could try www.FindOrlandoRooms.com
