We are 4 adults planning a trip in August.

We are staying in an apartment close to DLP. We arrive on 16th Aug, plan to spend 17th & 18th in central Paris

We plan to go to DLP on 19th & 20th. We fly from Orly at 4pm on 21st so could go back for a few hrs on that day if we had tickets.

We'll have a car so need to park. May not want to go in at 8am but before 10am would be nice but not essential.

We would welcome advice from those who know more than us on the best approach to tickets. Is it worth getting season passes? If it is how do we get them.

Thanks :cool1:

19th and 20th are good days - Tuesday and Wednesday - so should be as "un busy" as it gets in August. :thumbsup2

Not normally worth paying for annual passes for a 2 day visit but if you are staying offsite you can only get in before 10 with a Fantasy or Dream AP. If you do decide to go for APs then check the sponsorship thread to see if another DIS member can sponsor you for 10% off the cost. If nobody here is going then try the Disneyland Paris Tripadvisor sponsorship thread.

I believe the Village car park is both cheaper and nearer so head for that rather than the Park car park. If you do get a Fantasy or Dream AP though you get free parking in the Parks car park.

Try ticketmaster.fr for cheaper park tickets than gate price. also check the disneylandparis.fr website for print at home e-tickets which can be cheaper than on UK site. Leave your country as France - it is fine.

Check the rules for the new Fantasy passes as they will not have EMH and maybe not parking included soon. The 20th Anniversary ones had extra privileges that are being revoked :-/

I am TOTALLY new to this paris planning-----stupid question----can we use the same tickets that we have for Disney World (florida) in paris too? OR are they on a completely different ticket structure?

You can not use WDW (or Disneyland) tickets at DLP. They are different tickets as DLP is owned and operated differently to the American parks.

Believe it or not, DLP is a franchise (like the Asian parks, so it's not linked to WDW or DLC company wise. Shame as I'd love my AP to cover me stateside ;-)
