Help with Bday gifts for Disney trip

My niece and nephew turn 6 & 7 in November. Their parents are taking them to WDW as their birhtday present (staying offsite). This will be their first trip to WDW (They did take a DC a couple of years back, but unfortunately they ended up on the second ship where everyone became very ill from a virus, so needless to say, it wasn't much of a vacation).

Anyway, I would like to put together a package for them to take with them for their trip as their birthday presents. However, my DH and I have no children so our trips to WDW are very different that what it would be with children. I am looking for suggestions as to what would be fun, cool, practical etc. for them to have/use while there.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Remember that gifts can't be wrapped for TSA reasons if they are flying.

To tell the truth, my girls are 7 and 9 and the best thing they could get for a disney trip would be disney dollars. Hit the disney store and give them an amount you think appropriate.

This way when evening hits and they want a "light up thingy" or when the characters come and they want an autograph book or when they exit an attraction and must have the souviner of the day your relatives can say ok - spend your Disney dollars and be sure to thank aunt and uncle when we get home.

Acutally my sister and bil did this for my kids and they wrote out a post card when they spent their dollars and my ds and dbil got back as much as they gave in thanks and pixie dust!

Thank you for all of your suggestions. They were definitely helpful. I think I will do a few Disney Dollars along with some of the other ideas suggested.
