Help with Avatar, Please!

Hi,
For some reason I cannot get my avatar to work. It has a red "X" in the box... what can I do? I have tried personal pics, and online pics... also tried uploading from Smugmug. I have posted avatars before........ what am I doing wrong?

What format of picture are you using? Also check the size.

Lori, contact Mary Jo (moderator) she may be able to help. i noticed other people have been having problems with their avatars not showing.

Oh man, I uploaded my own years ago.....I can't remember how to do it but I know it was doable. Let me try to remember.

Lori, i dont think you are doing anything wrong, there are several threads about this on the DIS tech support forum. other board users are having the same problem.

Somehow my setting we're messed up. I had to convert to JPEG from BITMAP.... now I can post avatars again....
