Help with Autopia quest please?

Ok, I looked at the guides here for the Autopia quest, and I'm still stuck. The clue that says "You're a good driver, but you need to be great. Earn 500 credits anywhere to get out the starting gate."

According to the guides here, all I have to do is sit on one of the saddle benches at the Frontierland hub. But nothing happens when I sit on one. I even tried sitting on all of them. So do I really have to earn 500 credits somewhere first before I sit on one? And if so, why isn't that part included in the guides here (no offence to the wonderful people who took the time to come up with these wonderful guides. I understand sometimes things can escape the mind). And also, if I do have to earn 500 credits first, could it be on an "off site" game like Yeti Vision?

You can do a few things to get the 500 credits. You can play one of the games, HM, Fireworks, Jungle Cruise. OR you can sell some of your stuff to get the 500 credits.

I played fireworks got over 240,000 and didn't come in first and got my credits that way.

After you get the 500 credits, then you should get the question about sitting on the saddle seat.

Ah, so I DO have to earn 500 credits first. It didn't say that in any of the guides, so that's why I was confused about that part. Thanks so much for the help, ekmdisney . I just played Yeti Vision a couple times to get the codes and I'll enter them in the morning. I should have 500 then. Thought I'd try that game since I'm not that good at Pirates, Fireworks, or Haunted Mansion.

Although I'm ok on the Jungle Cruise
