We are taking a HUGE trip in September of 2009: Our Grand Gathering includes 6 adults and 5 children (3 belonging to me, 2 to my sister), all of whom (with exception of the baby, who is too young to be diagnosed) have Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We are having some T shirts made to mark the occassion (for the whole family) and we would like to have one or two sets to include something about autism on them. One of the T-shirt ideas we came up with was to do the Mickey Mouse head outline with the autism puzzle filling it in, but we are a bit stuck for a tag line....

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi; go to rumblytumbly's disigns at this link:
under the autism tag are a whole bunch of disigns (some of which I helped with-on the idea side, not execution- that's all her talent. Mine are the celebrate neurodiversity and seeing the world from a different point of view ones.)

I think you'll find some really good ideas here, and she doesn't mind sharing them. Just remember to thank her.

Enjoy!

Wow those are amazing, I see she had exactly what I was talking about with the Mickey Head and autism puzzle.

Thanks so much.

No problem; hope you enjoy them! Let us know if you need anything else.

Not a stupid question at all.
I think that we right clicked on the images we wanted and then saved them into our pictures, then printed them onto t-shirt transfers from there. If that doesn't work on a plain test piece of paper, let me know.
Good luck!
Nicole

Don't forget to do the print out in reverse so the lettering is correct when ironed on.

If you want them professionally printed, I like cafepress.com. You upload the picture and can have it printed on a variety of items shirts, bags, hats, etc. Just make sure you aren't using something that is trademarked.

I've ordered quite a few things and have been impressed with the quality and the quick turnaround.

another related site is http://nopityshirts.com/. It has some cute shirts.....some are a little "in your face", but others are cute. My DD11 is hearing impaired, and we like some of the deaf ones.
