Help with arrival day

We will be arriving at MCO at 10:30am on Aug 17. Then to Pop and then to
Animal Kingdom. I know it's not the best day to go, but I'm real happy with my itinerary for the rest of the week, we're going back to Philly on the 22nd , and I don't want to change my plans. Can someone give me some advice on what to see and in what order. I usually follow the Unofficial guide for touring,
and I'm hoping to go to EE first and hope that fast passes aren't all gone. I'm traveling with my dd and dgd (3 1/2) and I don't usually go in the summer. Have been there many times in April, May, Sept and Oct. Don't know what to expect in the summer and hoping to be at the park by 1:00pm. Any suggestions are well appreciated. Thanks

Check the tote board after you cross the bridge on the right as you approach the Tree of Life. You should see whether there are any FP's left for EE. Afterwards, head over to the Festival of the Lion King Show. I'm sure that your dgd will love it. After that, try ITTBAB. After that show, head over to Kilimanjaro Safaris. Make sure to find time for Mickeys Jammin Jungle parade (look for seating in the shade). August is quite hot, so take your time and enjoy.
