We will be staying for the first time at the All Star Movies in February of 2003. Have only stayed at Poly and Cont before and are really looking forward to the Movies. Could anyone help me out with a few questions, please?? First, do they have coffee makers in the rooms at the Movies? DH is a HUGE coffee drinker and has to have his fix in the mornings. Next, are there any so called "quieter" rooms to request. Both times before we could hear people running (stomping) down the hall above us late at night. While this didn't ruin our vacation, it certainly was annoying. Last, we plan on driving down and using our car to get around, what buildings at the Movies are close to a parking lot and are the elevators convenient to use??

Thanks for all of your help. You guys are wonderful!

First the bad news - there are no coffee machines in the rooms. But it's not far no matter where you are at ASMo to get to the food court.

As far as 'quieter' rooms, the buildings at the All Stars are shaped like a 'T' with stairways, elevators and ice machines located at the top center of the T. There are also stairways at the ends of each wing. So you may want to stay away from those areas.

You mentioned that you 'could hear people running (stomping) down the hall above us late at night.' Did you know there are no interior halls at the AS's? That bothers some people but not us.

As far as parking, here is a link to Deb Wills site with a layout of ASMo showing the buildings and parking.

Enjoy!!

We stayed in the Herbie bldg. and it was very close to a parking lot. We only used the car once or twice for shopping. That bldg. is the farthest from the Food Court, but it's still an easy walk and we enjoyed it very much. Not bothered by outside noise that I remember. I think you'll like it. This year we're staying at ASMU.
