I want to make my dining reservations as soon as the 180 day window opens up. One problem, My husbands sister will be joining us for a couple days during the trip but she won't know the days until about a month before we go. I don't want to not put her on the reservation in the event she is there, she would have nothing to do by herslef. Should I make all my reservations
including her and then when we get there and if she is not there just tell the hostess or will we still be billed? Or should I just call the month before and take her off our reservations which would lower our table seating, would they not have availability if we did this? Or should I just make all the reservations without her and then the month before call to see if I can add her on? What do I do if they can't add her on? Or do I wait until day of and tell the hostess we have an extra person and will they be able to accomadta? I really don't want to get turned away. HELPPPPPPP from those that have been i a situation like this, what has been your experience? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Hi Lola,

Make the ADRs to include your SIL, and then if and when you know she will not be coming, call back to change the number at your table.

There are no fees for ADRs with a few exceptions, such as CRT and the Fantasmic Dining Plan..and even in those cases if you take her off the ADR a month in advance you wil not be charged for her.

Have a look here for more info:

I would make all the ressies..then..call and cancel ahead of time if she doesn't go to change the party size or cancel entirely.

Most ADR's don't require a credit card hold.. those that do have either a 24 or 48 hr. cancellation notice time.
Don't wait till you get there..there might be others trying to get in!! ;)

what is your party size without her? I had ADR's all last weekend for a party of 4. My sister came to every meal and they had now problem adding the additional person. But my party of 4 included a high chair so that helped I think.
