I usually take 5/6 day trips with my husband and multiple kids. This summer I'm taking a ten day trip (after a four day trip in May, and with another 4 day planned in Sept) and I'm having a really hard time figuring out what I want to do with all that time. This time I'm traveling with my disabled wheelchair bound 8 yo dd and my sister, but my sister is only there for the first five days. My dd and I have ap's (so can hop) but my sister only has a base ticket. We are staying at the WL club level. This is my sister's first real Disney trip, beyond 1 day things when we were kids.

I have the five days with my sister pretty locked down, but after that I'm a mess. I made FP selections today, and I just don't know if I'm making the right calls at all.

As far as ground rules, I don't really have any except that I prefer eating TS meals, because me alone with a tray and wheelchair is not pretty.

Here are the plans I currently have:

Jun 26: Arrival day. My flight lands at 8:30 am, but my sister's doesn't land until 3:30. I may head over to a park waiting for her, but may will likely hang out at the resort. We will go to MK and have dinner at CRT.

Jun 27: Animal kingdom. Lunch at Sanaa. Dinner at DTD at Raglan Road. I've never been there and have always wanted to check it out, and the park closes early so it seems like a good opportunity.

Jun 28: DHS. Doing the Frozen premium package. No lunch plan. Dinner at bluezoo (at 5, so we can get back for the fireworks/dessert party.) Will probably stay for Fantasmic.

Jun 29: Epcot. Lunch Via Napoli, dinner Monsieur Paul (my fave!)

Jun 30: MK again. 8 am breakfast at CP, late lunch at BOG, late dinner at CG so we can watch the fireworks.

Jul 1: Breakfast with sister at WCC. ME should pick her up about 9:30. Was vaguely thinking I would then take dd to see the shows in AK or to Epcot this day? Not really sure on dinner.

Jul 2: MK. Breakfast at 8 at BOG. Dinner at Artist Point. I have FP planned in the evening for MSEP and to meet Anna and Elsa. (Wanted to do that in the evening because it's cooler and dd can wear a costume.)

Jul 3: Vaguely thinking maybe HS. Not sure about dinner or what we would do in the evening. I am hoping that Harambe Nights opens up soon and either tonight or tomorrow night is an option, as dd's absolute favorite think at WDW is the lion king show.

Jul 4: Torn. I have plans in MK. Lunch at LTT, dinner at BOG. (not our first time, so changing is ok.) I have FP set for the afternoon and evening. But I'm feeling twitchy about taking my dd alone to MK on the busiest day of the summer. We've done every other park on july 4th except MK (except coming in after the fireworks when the park is clearing out). But I'm thinking switching to Epcot may be a good idea? Ugh I don't know.

Jul 5: Departure day, but flight doesn't leave until 9 pm. Thinking MK and lunch there?

Anyone have any ideas? I feel like my sister and I are really hitting a lot in her 5 days. What else should I be doing on the other days?

July 4 is BUSY, I can't imagine trying to push a wheelchair through all those people! We watched MK fireworks in front of the train station & it was a pretty easy exit if you do decide to stay there.

Have you considered a resort day or a sleep-in day. Some people who take long trips like that mention a rest type day in the middle. How about a resort day on July 1, maybe dinner at Trail's End at Fort Wilderness (You could take the boat) and see the Chip and Dale sing along?

Is the boat to ft wilderness wheelchair accessible? I considered doing hoop de doo too, is that fun?

If it were me (and it is kind of what I am doing for my upcoming trip) I would focus on the "must-dos" while you are with your sister and then spend the rest of the trip on the stuff that is less busy.

I know you are going during a busy time but you'll probably still be able to get same day (or even night before) fast passes for things on many days. I would probably try to eat bigger breakfasts those days and then just do early dinner in the parks (where it is likely that you could get a reservation at an off time somewhere). Or snacks in the park and back to the resort for dinner (room service!!).

I have early lunches planned for some days that I don't know where I really want to be too so I can start at one park and the leave after lunch if I want.

Revised plan. Lmk what you think:

Jun 26: arrival, play day by ear. DD and I may go have lunch in a park because we land at 8:30 am-- I will see what's available that morning. MK in evening and dinner at CRT.

Jun 27: AK, lunch at Sanaa, dinner at Raglan Road.

Jun 28: DHS, Frozen premium package, early dinner Bluezoo

Jun 29: Epcot, lunch at Via Napoli, dinner at Monsieur Paul.

Jun 30: MK, pre-park open breakfast at Crystal Palace, late lunch at BOG, Fireworks dessert party

July 1: Sister leaves. Breakfast at Whispering Canyon. DD and I will probably hop over to see FOTLK and the Nemo show at lunch time, but mostly resting today. Dinner at Artist Point. MK after dinner for MSEP and meeting Anna and Elsa.

July 2: MK, pre-park open breakfast at BOG. 4:00 Hoop Dee Doo Revue. May go back to MK after, or just call it an early night.

July 3: DHS. Lunch at Mama Melrose. Dinner (7:30) at Cali Grill to see the 4th fireworks.

July 4: Epcot 1/2 day. Will go to Downtown Disney early afternoon (catch bus from beach club about 2 pm?) 3pm adr at TREX. 6pm La Nouba. Will relax at our resort after.

July 5: Departure day (plane leaves at 9 pm), MK, lunch at Liberty Tree.
