Help? Will Body Wars/ Cranium Command be open in Sept?

I thought I've read these are seasonal and thus no one actually knows if they're open now or will be in September at Epcot.

Has anyone been lately, and were they open? My DS11 loves Body Wars from a long time ago (stemming from an inside joke within our family and he'd like to see it again for old times' sake). I heard this pavilion is shut/not open whether for the season or refurb, not sure.

Anyone know from first hand experience? Thanks!

Probably not - no sponsorship; I don't even think it's been open at the busiest times.

It wasn't open during Spring Break / Easter week, and I think that is the 2nd most busy week at WDW. Sad, I dont think they plan to open it again.

BTW, I called WDW beforehand to ask this question, and the answer depended on who I was talking to! But I figure, if they didn't open it then, they probably wont open it now.

This is cut and pasted from the bottom of the Sept. calendar page on the office site:
OPERATIONAL UPDATES
Body Wars: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed [September 1, 2006 to September 30, 2006]
Cranium Command: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed [September 1, 2006 to September 30, 2006]
The Making of Me: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed [September 1, 2006 to September 30, 2006]
This is also the same info on the Oct,Nov and Dec calendar pages for all three, as well as Jan and Feb for just Body Wars. So, officially it doesn't appear they will be open any time soon.

I'm pretty sure the 'guts' of Body Wars have be ripped out and either shipped to another Disney park, or being used as spare parts for the various Disney simulators. There's always that small bit of hope that Cranium Command will make a brief encore before being leveled, but the Magic 8-ball says 'signs point to NO', for ever seeing the Wonders of Life operational in any form.

OK, fellow DISers:

I am firmly in the "Sorry, WoL is gone forever" camp,

BUT...

A while back on a similar thread, THIS little item popped up.
I copied it and am pasting it below, unedited.
It doesn't jibe with what's posted on the WDW website,
but it DOES spark a bit of hope, at least at the "rumor" level.

All discussion should be addressed to "Otimon", the OP.

Plans are for the Wonders of Life to be open for 5 weeks this year - beginning Thanksgiving through the end of the year.

I have so many guests tell me how much they miss Wonders. Hope many of you will be down to enjoy it during the holidays.

Best wishes.

I LOVED Cranium Command. Such a cute out of the way show.

I agree that the Wonders of Life pavilion will probably never open it's doors again. It might be made into something else though. It hasn't been open the last few times I've been to WDW.

It's so sad Wonders of Life is never open...

It's been "Temporarily/Seasonally Closed" for at least 1 1/2 - 2 years (as long as we've had annual passes)

You'd think some of those BIG DRUG companies could SPONSOR it... I'm sure they could spare the change!

I adored Cranium Command and The Making of Me.
I wonder how actively Disney tried to market sponsership? I agree, a drug company should sponser it!

I loved Buzzy! And the pre-show was hysterical too. :3dglasses

Some of the stations on Live365 have played the entire show. It's a fun trip down memory lane as WofL was always one of our favorite paviliions. My boys used to love the Coach's Corner (I think that was it's name) where they could swing a bat, hit a golf ball, tennis ball, etc. then get a "live" video lesson from a real pro-athelete.

It seems like every time we like something at EP they change it. Don't get me wrong, TT & M:S are huge for us but I do miss the old WofMotion, Horizons, WofL & don't even get me started about the Imagination pavillion!

Inigo Montoya to Disney: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
