Help! Wii question!

OK...my DF and I are giving each other the Wii for Christmas. How many batteries do we need for the controllers in order to play on Christmas morning? And what size will I need?

I think each controller takes two AA batteries.

DH and I bought the Wii for each other for Christmas as well...it didn't make it until Christmas though!! We've already opened it!!!

The controller that comes with the system takes two AA batteries, but they were already included in the box. We bought the Wii Play package that comes with a game and the additional controller and that also came with batteries...of course, they aren't the greatest brand, so we already traded them out with better quality.

Have a blast with the Wii on Christmas morning!

We just charged up the wii last night! It came with batteries, but we already swapped them out for better ones.

I would suggest you investing in 10-12 rechargeable batteries. It's been a lifesaver for us, as the Wii is turned on in the morning and turned off for the first time at dark. With it being colder, it's a good way for the kids to play together (and adults to play with them) and get a little exercise.
