HELP why does it keep asking for credit card

have my reservation number, but cannot book any restaurants...how do i go about it. i never had to put in card other years when i made reservations .

When I called to make mine they told me the card was in place to hold our reservation, they wouldn't charge it unless we didn't show up - then they would charge $10.00 per person, for as many people as were on the reservation.

Have to put cc against character meals and signature dining. No show costs you $10 per person. And u can only make 1 ressie per mealtime now. No cc no ressie. Keeps people from double booking ressies that they know they will use only 1. Must cancel at least 48 hrs in advance

This is the link to a list of the restaurants that require either prepayment or credit card guarantees as of October 26, 2011. You cannot make reservations at these restaurants without a credit card number to guarantee the reservation. You will not be charged unless you don't show up. In the case of CRT and dinner shows you must pay in full for the meal when you book it. Pay particular attention to any cancellation deadlines on the reservations you make. Most are 24 hours, not 48.
